Snow Patrol have offered their hit song, 'Just Say Yes' as the official song for the Yes Equality campaign.

The Northern Irish band, fronted by Gary Lightbody, join countless famous faces who have come out in support of the campaign, including Aiden Gillen, Sir Ian McKellen, Anne Doyle, Roddy Doyle and more.

The marriage equality referendum takes place on May 22.

On 22 May Ireland will ask its citizens if "marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex"

Snow Patrol are currently working on their new album, which is thought to be released in October.

Just Say Yes featured on their last album, Fallen Empires, which released in 2012.
