Teenager abducted in town centre

Police have launched a child rescue alert after a teenage boy was abducted by two males from a street.

Sait Canbullu, 15, was put into a black saloon car with tinted windows at 1.10pm in Wexford town.

A Garda Siochana spokesman said the males covered their faces with either balaclavas or ski masks.

The abduction occurred at the junction of High Street and Rowe Street and it is believed the car travelled in the direction of Wexford Quays.

Sait is described as 5ft 4in, of average build with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey tracksuit and blue/grey Nike running shoes.

A Child Rescue Ireland Alert has been issued and a nyone with information is asked to contact 999 immediately.
