A teenager has been arrested in a drugs bust that turned up heroin and cannabis worth 200,000 euro.
Detectives also seized a sawn-off shotgun during the operation in Tallaght, south Dublin.
It is believed the male arrested at the scene, in the Jobstown area, is as young as 16.
Officers from the local drugs unit stopped a car at around 6.30pm on Thursday.
Heroin, cannabis herb, the firearm and a number of cartridges were all recovered during a search.
The haul has been sent for forensic examination by Garda technical experts.
The teenager was taken to Tallaght Garda station for questioning.
He is believed to be from the area and is being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
