Teenagers arrested over burglary

Three youths have been arrested following a burglary in Co Meath.

The boys, aged in their late teens, were detained following a short car chase at around 2.30am on Sunday morning.

They allegedly stole the vehicle from a house they burgled a short time earlier in Navan and were intercepted by gardai on patrol in the Kentstown area.

The teens were being held at Navan Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

All the property taken during the burglary has been recovered.
