Two arrested after police seize Dublin drugs haul

More than 100 kilos of cannabis and 40,000 prescription pills have been seized by the Garda drugs squad.

Two men in their 30s were arrested in the intelligence-led raid yesterday at about 7pm when a truck and car were stopped in the St Margaret's Road area of Finglas, north Dublin.

Gardai said the cannabis had a street value estimated to be worth about 600,000 euro.

Officers from the drugs squad and the organised crime bureau were involved in the operation.
