Two held over shooting murder

A burnt-out car at Glen Vale, Lucan, Gardai are investigating the possibility that this may have been used in the shooting of Stephen "Dougie" Moran, who was connected to organised crime, was shot a number of times by a lone gunman as he walked to his front door at Earlsfort View in Lucan, Dublin, at about 7.30pm yesterday.

Two men have been arrested by gardai probing a shooting murder in Dublin.

Keith Walker, 36, died at a building which houses a youth project on the Shelerin Road, Clonsilla, on Friday.

Suspects aged 36 and 38 were detained in the capital last night, Garda said.

They are being held at Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda stations.

Gardai also searched residential properties in the Dublin area.
