Wedding guests were evacuated from a Cork hotel last night after a hoax device was found at the premises.

Army bomb disposal experts were called to the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig shortly after 9pm.

Guests were allowed back in to the hotel at around 11pm.

Gardai are investigating.
