A teenager who claims that she was indecently assaulted as a schoolgirl by a 51-year-old Larne man has denied she fantasised about running away with him and getting married.
The girl, now 17, was being cross-examined at the Belfast Crown Court trial of baker Brian Thompson, who allegedly kissed her before stripping her and performing a sex act on her.
Thompson, from Inver Heights in Larne, denies two counts of indecent assault on July 19 2008.
The girl, who cannot be identified, was aged 15 at the time of the alleged assaults. She admitted that there was “banter” about marrying between them but denied her claim of assault was nothing but fantasy.
