Snap to it: Final call to enter your picture for event

By Amanda Ferguson

This is the final call for your One Summer’s Day photographs.

On Saturday, August 2 you were out and about snapping images of Northern Ireland for our annual mass participation photography event.

Street entertainment, donkeys, a puppy, and scenic images captured on Rathlin Island and along the North Coast, are just some of the pictures you have shared with us so far.

Belfast Telegraph picture editor Peter Rainey said: “I am very impressed by the standard of entries we have received from people across Northern Ireland.”

The closing date for entries is this Saturday, August 16, with winners announced next month.

You could win a short staycation break, courtesy of NITB, and the best 100 photographs will be included in a special commemorative supplement, which will be produced and distributed in September.

Photographs taken on Saturday, August 2, 2014 only. Entries are split into three categories — primary school, secondary school and adult. Send your entry via email to onesummersday@belfasttelegraph.co.uk with a note explaining what makes it so special.
