Two men were killed in a collision in Co Donegal over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The crash happened early yesterday morning about a mile from Letterkenny on the main road to Londonderry.

The men, aged 19 and 21, were from Co Donegal.

It is believed the driver of the car lost control and the vehicle then hit a wall. No other vehicle was involved. Meanwhile, in Co Antrim, a man was left in a critical condition after the car he was travelling in left the road near Glarryford shortly before 8am yesterday.

Another man who was in the car was also being treated for his injuries. Three other male passengers in the car did not need treatment.

In Derry, a bus and two cars were in collision on the Lower Glendermott Road at around 11.15am on Saturday.

There were no reports of any serious injuries though a woman was taken to hospital for a check-up.

And a male motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital with fractures after his bike was in collision with a car in Glenarm yesterday afternoon.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
