A Briton missing in Australia has been found and reunited with his family.
Benjamin Wyatt, 34, from Bath, Somerset, vanished after visiting a beach in the Melbourne area with his family on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, his mother, Diana Wyatt, was visibly distraught at a press conference as she urged her son to return, saying her life was “empty” without him.
Police had carried out extensive searches of the area by air, land and sea.
A Victoria Police spokesman said Mr Wyatt had returned to the address where his family had been staying on Wednesday after being missing for 24 hours.
“Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in the search for Benjamin Wyatt,” the spokesman said.
