Boy charged with firearms offence after police called to school

Armed officers were called to Higham Lane School in Shanklin Drive, Nuneaton, at 9.15am on Tuesday.

A boy has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life after police were called to a school.

The youth has also been charged with possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life and having a pocket knife on school premises, Warwickshire Police said.

Armed officers were called to Higham Lane School in Shanklin Drive, Nuneaton, at 9.15am on Tuesday.

The teenager is due to appear at youth court later.
