CCTV footage of club crash released
CCTV footage of the moment a car drove into a crowd of revellers outside a nightclub has been released by police in a bid to trace the driver.
Fourteen people were taken to hospital by ambulance after the vehicle mounted the pavement and then ploughed into clubgoers outside Dali bar in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
Police are continuing to search for Lee Bradley, 26, who they want to speak to in connection with the incident at about 2.10am on Sunday, October 17.
Officers have searched more than 80 addresses since the incident and warned that anyone found to be helping or sheltering Bradley would also be arrested.
All those who were treated in hospital were discharged within a few days.
Detective Inspector Chris Walker, of Rochdale CID, said: "I want Bradley and anyone who knows where he might be to look at this CCTV footage and think long and hard about how serious this offence is.
"The footage clearly shows the driver of the car recklessly driving into a large group of people and, without exaggeration, it is fortunate no-one was killed.
"We desperately need to speak to Bradley about this incident and will not rest until we find him. I also want to warn anyone foolish enough to help him that they will be dealt with severely. He cannot hide forever and it is in everyone's best interests that he hands himself in and talks to us sooner rather than later."
Bradley is known to have links to the Rochdale, Manchester and Whitworth areas. He is described as white, 5ft 7in, of slim build with brown hair and has the tip of his ring finger on his right hand missing. He has a large distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.
A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed until November 15 pending further inquiries.
