'is Ma'am in', trespasser asked palace security, court hears
The Convicted murderer Dennis Hennessy, has admitted trespass after scaling a wall at Buckingham Palace.
Hennessy was in the grounds of the Palace for seven minutes after triggering an alarm on Thursday.
Appearing in court on Friday, Hennessy (41) from Wembley in London admitted trespass of a protected site and one count of criminal damage.
His hearing heard how he cut his hand scaling the wall before admiring gardens.
On being caught, prosecutors said he asked "is Ma'am in".
Westminster Magistrates' Court heard how he was on licence after being convicted of the murder of a homeless man in 1992.
