Couple charged with baby son murder
The parents of a four-month-old boy who died from head injuries will appear in court on Friday charged with murder.
An investigation was launched after Jayden Moses Wray was admitted to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital with serious injuries on July 23 last year.
The baby died two days later and a post-mortem examination found he suffered a head injury and multiple fractures.
His parents Rohan Wray, 20, and Chana Al-Alas, 18, formerly of the Barnsbury estate, Islington, north London, were arrested.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they will appear in custody at the Old Bailey accused of murder.
They also face a second charge of causing or allowing the death of the baby. A third suspect, a 15-year-old girl, will not face further action.
Officers from the Met's child abuse investigation command were responsible for the inquiry.
