The daughter of former Secretary of State Shaun Woodward has married in a private ceremony in the Caribbean.

Healthy eating blogger Ella Woodward (24), known to her readers as Deliciously Ella, married her partner Matthew Mills on Saturday in a low-key affair on the tropical island of Mustique.

Their wedding party included family and just 10 friends and their partners.

The new Mrs Mills has been posting snaps of her nuptials on Twitter and Instagram, with tweets proclaiming, "We did it!" and "Best day ever!".

The bride wore a £4,000 Jenny Packham gown for the beachside ceremony despite the 30 degree temperatures.

The groom was casual in a pair of grey trousers and a plain white shirt as they had pictures taken on the sand.

Despite the relatively small guest list, the celebrations are said to have gone on for four days, with the wedding venue a set of private villas estimated to cost up to £50,000 each for the occasion.

She got engaged to her husband and business partner in the Cotswolds last summer after her former Labour MP father introduced them.

Matthew (32) is the son of lawyer David Mills and Tessa Jowell, now Baroness Jowell of Brixton.

The couple have been holidaying in the sun since last week, as supermarket heiress Camilla Sainsbury, who is Ella's mother, has a house on the island.

Mustique was a favourite spot of Princess Margaret who held legendary parties on the island frequented by rock stars and movie legends.
