DJ Fox 'snog-raped' 15-year-old girl at Capital Radio roadshow, court is told
A 15-year-old girl was "snog-raped" by DJ Neil Fox when he forced his tongue into her mouth at a Capital Radio roadshow, a court heard.
The 54-year-old allegedly pulled the teenage fan towards him at the event at Chessington World of Adventures and kissed her on the mouth.
Giving evidence at Westminster Magistrates' Court, the woman said she had never been kissed before the April 1996 roadshow.
She said she had gone to the event as a fan of the radio station and when it concluded, Fox approached the barrier and posed for photographs with the crowd, kissing some women on the cheek.
The complainant added: "I said 'Hi Dr Fox', or 'Hi Foxy, can I have a kiss?'"
She added that he replied "yes" quite "meaningfully" and then pulled him towards her.
"He put his lips up against my lips and forced my mouth open, and then put his tongue in my mouth for several seconds," said the alleged victim.
"I was in shock as it was happening. I remember just sort of trying to pull my head back ... he had my back, it was quite forceful."
John Price QC, prosecuting, asked her: "Had anybody ever kissed you in this way before?"
"No," replied the woman.
When asked how the incident made her feel, she added: "I was really upset by it."
The court heard the woman did not tell anyone what happened until she was at university, and a couple of years later disclosed the information to some friends.
Mr Price asked her what she told them. The woman responded: "I would have said 'he stuck his tongue in my mouth - he snog-raped me', or something like that."
Fox is alleged to have sexually abused three girls aged under 16 between 1988 and 1996. He denies the charges.
The trial continues.
