Ex-MP quizzed again over child abuse
A former Tory MP has been quizzed for a second time by detectives investigating historical allegations of child sex abuse.
Harvey Proctor was interviewed under caution by Metropolitan Police officers working on Operation Midland, the inquiry launched following allegations of a VIP paedophile ring.
He was not arrested and will not be subject to any police bail conditions, Scotland Yard said.
Mr Proctor, who represented Basildon in Essex from 1979 to 1983 and Billericay from 1983 to 1987, is calling a Press conference today in which he is expected to criticise the police activity.
His home within the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire was searched by officers in March.
