The parents of a missing teenage couple have broken down as they made an emotional plea for the pair to return home.
Charlotte Ford, 15, and Luke Jarvis, who turned 16 on Thursday, are believed to be together in the West Midlands region and may be sleeping rough, police said.
The pair, who have been together "on and off" for around seven months, have been missing for almost two weeks.
Addressing her daughter during a tearful media appeal, Charlotte's mother Debbie Ford, 37, said: "It doesn't matter what has happened, it doesn't matter what the circumstances, just come home. We really miss you. We love you no matter what. Just come home, please."
Luke's father Andrew Jarvis said: "We are very concerned for your safety, we just want you both to come back. Please just think about what you are doing, you are in no trouble whatsoever. We will celebrate your birthday, Luke, together as a family. We all love you so very much."
Charlotte, from Wordsley, West Midlands, was last seen when she left home to meet a friend on Sunday June 26. She was reported missing by her parents after failing to meet up with the friend or return home. Luke, from Bilston, West Midlands, has not been seen since June 27.
West Midlands Police said the pair were captured by CCTV cameras at Dudley bus station on Sunday June 26 at about 5pm.
Superintendent Stuart Johnson, from Dudley police, said: "West Midlands Police are very concerned for both Charlotte and Luke's safety. Despite significant searches by the police and by family and friends we have yet to find any trace of the two teenagers. Our priority at this stage is to confirm they are safe and well. This is an exceptional period of time...it's almost two weeks now, that is unusual."
Charlotte, who has a Welsh accent, is described as white, with long blonde hair and brown eyes and is around 5ft 4in. Luke is described as white, 5ft 5in, thin, with short light brown hair cut in a spiky style and brown eyes.
Officers said they had also received an unconfirmed sighting of the couple in Prestatyn, North Wales, on Wednesday at 3.30pm.
