Former Antiques Roadshow presenter Hugh Scully dies
Former Antiques Roadshow presenter Hugh Scully has died at the age of 72.
His son Oliver said his father died on Thursday afternoon while watching TV at his Cornwall home.
Scully presented the Antiques Roadshow for almost 20 years up until 2000, when Michael Aspel took over.
Peter Salmon, director of BBC Studios and controller of BBC One between 1997 and 2000, said Hugh was " a great servant of the BBC for more than 30 years" who "won a special place in the hearts of so many" when presenting the Antiques Roadshow for 19 years.
