Ryan Giggs' brother Rhodri is "in shock" after his world was "tipped upside down in one night" by claims that the Manchester United footballer had an affair with his wife, a close friend has said.
TV star Will Mellor said: "It's a horrible time, imagine having your world tipped upside down in one night."
Asked if Rhodri (34) was still in shock, Mr Mellor said: "Yes. It's a horrendous time for everyone who's innocent in this and I just hope it blows over sooner rather than later and he can start rebuilding his life."
Giggs (37), Britain's 20th-richest sportsman, is in desperate need of help after "betraying" his family amid increasingly tawdry headlines about his private life.
The footballer is sponsored by Reebok, reportedly for €22.5m, Swiss watch firms Patek Philippe and Cyma, car manufacturer Citroen and phone company Saudi Telecom.
The married father-of-two has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks after claims of extra-marital affairs with two different women, including his sister-in-law, and his use of the controversial privacy injunction.
Yesterday it t was also alleged that Giggs had a two-year affair with a third unnamed woman, which occurred during his engagement and birth of his first-born child.
The third woman Giggs is accused of having an affair with is said to have first participated in a one-night stand with the footballer after meeting at the Living Room bar, in Manchester, before continuing the trysts for a further two years.
"This was no one-night stand,' a source close to the woman, who is said to be represented by publicist Max Clifford told the 'Daily Mail'.
"The two of them had a relationship for two years. It only came to an end when he phoned her on his wedding day to say it was all over."
Giggs, and his wife, Stacey, (32) were said to have fled to an undisclosed Mediterranean holiday hideaway in a desperate bid to repair their marriage.
Despite his alleged infidelity, it has been reported that Giggs's wife is standing by her husband. It remains unclear if she was aware of the latest claims.
His aunt Joanna Wilson (49) of Cardiff, accused him of preying on woman, by using his star status as a high-profile footballer. "I can't believe the mess Ryan's made of his life.
"He's a predator. I'm disgusted by his behaviour," said Mrs Wilson, who is the sister of Ryan and Rhodri's father, Danny Wilson,
"He might have a sex addiction. Who knows?
"Why do I think he did it? Just because he could. Because he's Ryan Giggs and there will always be foolish women who throw themselves at him.
"He's betrayed his beautiful wife and his beautiful children. I'm sorry to say it about my nephew but he's a ruined man.
"Everyone thought he was Mr Nice, but not now. They can see how cold he is the way he's treated his wife and brother.
"If Stacey has any self-respect she will show him the door and take him to the cleaners."
