A six-year-old girl has died following a collision with a tractor.

Police were called to reports of the collision on an unclassified road in Aberdaron, North Wales, at just before 8.40am today.

The child was named as Teal Amelia David, who came from the Oxon area in Shropshire.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident involving a red tractor.

A spokeswoman for North Wales Police said: "Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call the roads policing unit on 101 quoting reference S093701."
