Flames can still be seen in the corner of one of the shots.
Images have emerged purporting to show the charred insides of a tower block ravaged by a devastating fire.
Fire tore through the Grenfell Tower in north Kensington in the early hours of Wednesday morning, killing at least 17 with many others missing.
Pictures which claim to show the inside of a gutted flat have appeared on social media.
In the shots, blackened appliances are lined up against the wall while charred possessions are scattered across the floor.
The flat is exposed to the elements after the windows were blown out by the fire, while flames are seen in the corner of one of the shots.
The pictures appear to show the devastating impact of the fire which tore through the building in west London, with more than 200 firefighters sent to the scene.
London fire commissioner Dany Cotton said crews “were in fear of their own lives” as they went into the building which was “alight from top to bottom”.

She told Sky News: “For my crews who were on the ground who witnessed it happening it was truly horrible and shocking.
“I spoke to one of my officers who was very near when someone came out of the window, he was in tears. He is a professional fire officer. We like to think of ourselves as roughty-toughty and as heroes, but they have feelings. People were absolutely devastated by yesterday’s events.”
