Hotel for Kate on last single night
Prince Harry has joined Kate Middleton and her bridal party for a wedding rehearsal at Westminster Abbey.
The royal and his soon to be sister-in-law were accompanied by the young bridesmaids and pageboys for the event.
Harry is Prince William's best man and so plays an important part in the marriage ceremony as does Kate's sister Pippa Middleton, her maid of honour, who was also at the Abbey.
The group held a walk through when it was likely they helped the youngsters get used to the surroundings of the ancient place of worship. Among the party was the Duchess of Cornwall's granddaughter, Eliza Lopes, and Lady Louise Windsor, daughter of the Earl and Countess, who are both bridesmaids.
A St James's Palace spokesman said: "This was one of many rehearsals that will take place and is not the first."
William was not present as he was on Anglesey at RAF Valley where he works as a Search and Rescue helicopter pilot.
Earlier, St James's Palace announced the marriage ceremony will be played live via speakers to the crowds gathered in London for the major event. The tens of thousands who are expected to line the procession route will be able to hear the couple exchange vows.
Detailed ceremonial timings for the April 29 wedding day and celebrations have been released.
They reveal that William and Harry will arrive at Westminster Abbey well ahead of the bride. The brothers are to leave Clarence House at 10.10am in a state limousine, arriving five minutes later, and can expect to have almost 40 minutes to mingle with guests before the ceremony begins.
Kate will spend her last night as a single woman at an exclusive London hotel surrounded by her family and friends. The Goring - a favourite with the wealthy and famous for decades - has been booked up by the Middletons' wedding party for months.
