Coleen Rooney has expressed her outrage at the front page of The Sun - featuring her son Kai crying over England's Euros defeat to Iceland.

The mother-of-three, who is married to England captain Wayne, brought her eldest son to England's clash against Iceland on Monday.

After his father's team lost, the six-year-old was pictured with his head in his hands visibly upset.

Coleen took to Twitter to comment on today's front page after facing a barrage of comments on the social media site.

"Yes I've seen that front page and it's absolutely shocking," she said.

England's Euros campaign was a memorable one for Coleen, who last week was forced to defend her decision to take Kai out of school for a few days in order to see his dad play.

She said because he attends a private school, there is no fine for taking him out for the day, only saying they had "extra work to take with us" at the time.

She was pictured soaking up the sun in Nice earlier this week. Coleen and Wayne have three children together - Kai, Kaly (3) and Kit (five months).
