Man faces court over girl's death
A 22-year-old man accused of killing a girl who went missing from her home is set to enter a plea when he appears at court.
Jamie Reynolds, of Avondale Road, in Wellington, Shropshire is charged with murdering 17-year-old Georgia Williams earlier this year.
He is set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing today.
Former head girl Georgia, also from Wellington and whose father is a detective with West Mercia Police, went missing after she was last seen by her parents telling them she had gone to meet a friend on May 26.
Her body was found six days later in woodland by Nant-y-Garth pass near Wrexham in Wales.
Shop worker Reynolds was arrested the same day by police who had tracked him to a budget hotel in Glasgow, 290 miles away from his house.
