More images of fees protesters

Police have released more pictures of people suspected of having been involved in violent disorder and affray during protests against tuition fees.

The nine images were taken from incidents on November 30 and December 9 in London during demonstrations against rises in tuition fees.

More than 140 activists were arrested on November 30 after refusing to leave a demonstration in Trafalgar Square. The protests that day also saw hundreds of young people running from police over fears they would be kettled.

There was vandalism and violence during tuition fee demonstrations on December 9, the night MPs voted to raise tuition fees. A Scotland Yard spokesman said the latest images were not believed to relate to an attack on a car carrying the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall that night.

"The pictures are taken from the incidents which took place on November 30 and December 9," Scotland Yard said in a statement.

"Officers suspect the individuals featured were involved in offences of violent disorder and affray."

Anyone with information relating to any of those pictured is asked to contact the Operation Malone team on 020 8358 0100 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
