Police have been given more time to question three men arrested in Dover on suspicion of Syria-related terror offences.

The three, all from Birmingham and in their 20s, have been in detention since their arrest at the port on April 3, with West Midlands Police now granted an extension on how long it can hold the men, the force said.

Officers from West Midlands Counter Terrorism have until Friday April 17 to charge or release the suspects.

Of three others also arrested at the time, a woman has been released without charge while two men have been handed over to immigration officials for further investigation.
