New Tuesday draw for EuroMillions
Camelot is predicting a "sales frenzy" when the first EuroMillions Tuesday draw takes place this week with a jackpot of £85 million.
The jackpot would see a single winner gain wealth on a par with pop star Robbie Williams, who was valued at £85 million in The Sunday Times Rich List 2010, and only just behind George Michael, whose wealth is estimated at £90 million.
Camelot said: "Each of the 28,500 National Lottery Retailers across the country have stocked new playslips ensuring players can get their tickets before the 7.30pm draw break on Tuesday.
"The £85 million mega jackpot marks changes to the game which are designed to create bigger jackpots and even more winners."
The introduction of the Tuesday draw is one of a raft of changes to EuroMillions, including a new prize tier of around £2.70 for matching two main numbers. There will now be 11 Lucky Stars as opposed to nine.
If no-one matches all five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers to win the jackpot in the first Tuesday draw, then it will roll to the Friday draw on May 13.
There will also be two guaranteed millionaires created by the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle each week in the UK.
