Princess Eugenie urged not to 'fall back on Granny'
Princess Eugenie should "break the mould" and "stand on her own two feet" rather than move into Kensington Palace, a royal expert has said.
The 26-year-old daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York is reported to be about to rent Ivy Cottage - a three-bedroom home in the grounds of the royal residence in west London.
Eugenie was also reported to be planning to get engaged to long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, but a spokesman for the Duchess of York denied this.
Royal biographer Christopher Warwick suggested that she should strive for independence, rather than "falling back on Granny".
