Royal blue: Duchess of Cambridge dazzles in stylish coat
The Duchess of Cambridge was a true blue belle yesterday as she stepped out to highlight mental health issues affecting young people in Scotland.
After her triumphant lady in red moment at this week's State dinner to honour Chinese President Xi Jinping and his stylish wife Peng Liyuan, the Duchess chose a stunning blue coat for her visit to Dundee.
Fittingly, she chose a bespoke tailored coat made by Scottish designer Colin Kane in a royal blue dogtooth wool as she and husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, visited the city.
Dressed in her favourite black suede knee-length boots and with a simple matching clutch, the 33-year-old looked warm as well as fashionable.
It was the first official visit to Dundee by the royal couple, who are parents to two-year-old Prince George and six-month old Princess Charlotte. They met young people dealing with mental health challenges, and held a private meeting with leaders in Scotland's youth mental health sector.
