Ryder tipped for I'm a Celebrity
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have reportedly signed up Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder to appear in this year's series of the smash-hit ITV1 show.
The 48-year-old singer is tipped to be among the famous faces who will endure the Australian jungle when the show begins on Sunday evening, according to the Sun.
ITV executives might be left red-faced as the former Black Grape frontman is known for his frequent four-letter outbursts.
His swearing famously prompted Channel 4 to pre-record editions of Chris Evans show TFI Friday when he let fly with his bad language.
Mr Ryder was famously banned from appearing live on Channel 4 after his TFI antics which saw him use an array of expletives.
He was about to promote a new greatest hits album which is due for release next month., but his thought to have opted to enter the jungle in a bid to boost his profile
The rest of the cast who are heading to the Australian jungle has also been named by The Sun.
The paper believes actor Nigel Havers, presenter Gail Porter, former Bond girl Britt Ekland and Olympic sprinter Linford Christie will join Mr Ryder in the line-up.
Also said to be taking part are This Morning reporter Alison Hammond, former MP Lembit Opik, nutritionist Gillian McKeith and 2009 X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon.
Comic Dom Joly, Sheryl Gascoigne - former wife of ex-footballer Paul - and rapper Aggro Santos are also taking part, according to the paper.
