Sex offender Clifford and wife in split
A judge has signalled the end of the four-year marriage of jailed public relations expert and sex offender Max Clifford.
Clifford and wife Jo were granted a decree nisi by Judge Yvonne Gibson at a hearing lasting less than two minutes in the Central Family Court in London.
Neither was at the hearing.
Clifford (71) was given an eight-year jail term this month at Southwark Crown Court after being convicted of a string of indecent assaults on four women between 1977 and 1984.
Divorce papers showed that Mrs Clifford had filed for divorce on the grounds of "unreasonable behaviour".
Lawyer Lucy Sparks, who represented Clifford, said: "No comment."
