Short men live longer
There's good news for Northern Ireland's shorter men, which new research has found live longer than taller men, according to research.
Research into longevity based on height found that of 500 men born between 1866 and 1915 from the Italian island of Sardinia backed up 12 previous similar studies, according to the Daily Mirror.
The latest research by Belgian and Italian professors found that those vertically challenged men amongst us can expect to live on average two years longer than their taller peers.
The professors new research comes in the wake of the Sardinia's description as a 'blue zone' where there is a remarkably high percentage of long-lived people, who are also shorter than most Europeans.
