Smiling Kate Moss at Galliano show

Supermodel Kate Moss today attended a fashion show by her friend John Galliano.

The designer, who was sacked by Dior for an anti-semitic rant in Paris four years ago, was presenting his first collection for Maison Martin Margiela.

Moss went into the show in Buckingham Gate, central London, by a rear entrance, pursued by photographers running round from the front of the building. At least one of her female friends ranted at security staff for failing to keep the press away but Moss, clad in black including a black leather jacket, just smiled.

Galliano was said to be presenting a "small collection" of haute couture during London's menswear fashion week. Galliano was fired from Christian Dior following the incident at a cafe in Paris in February 2011.
