Strictly's Robinson nurses wounds
Casualty star Patrick Robinson is nursing wounds of his own after suffering a wrist injury while filming for this week's Strictly Come Dancing - but is still planning to take to the floor.
The actor has had to adapt his routine to ensure he can carry on while avoiding any strenuous lifts which could have worsened the pain.
At one stage earlier today he feared that his presence in the BBC1 dance show could have been in jeopardy.
The actor posted a message online this morning saying he was hurt - just a day before the next live heat of the BBC1 dance show.
He told his followers on Twitter: " Owwwww! My hand is not good... Might be out of competition."
Robinson had been rehearsing a salsa to Wings by Little Mix, which included three lifts for his professional partner Anya Garnis.
He was still in pain by the afternoon, with swelling and some fluid on the joint, after falling awkwardly while rollerblading for a video insert which was being prepared for the show.
Robinson's routine has had to be redone, to eliminate the lifts, and he is also unable to grip his partner.
The star - who plays consultant Martin "Ash" Ashford in Casualty - has already been in pain during the contest. Earlier in the series Robinson was forced to wear supports on both knees after excessive training for the jive left him with sore joints.
In last Saturday's edition of the show, he finished with 33 points from the judges - putting him just behind joint leaders Natalie Gumede, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Abbey Clancy.
