Three held as missing girl found

A 14-year-old girl who went missing from home, sparking a police search, has been found.

Adela Copakova, who went missing from her home in Sheffield on Sunday, was found in Bradford on Wednesday morning, South Yorkshire Police said.

A spokesman said three men have been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

The spokesman said: "Earlier this morning missing 14-year-old Adela Copakova was found in Bradford.

"Three men have been arrested in connection with her disappearance."

Adela, who is Slovakian, was reported missing on Sunday evening after she was last seen outside a house in Twentywell Lane, Sheffield, at about 8pm.

Senior police officers said on Tuesday they were concerned for her safety and did not know why she had gone missing.

Adela's disappearance came a week after a search for another Sheffield teenager of Slovakian decent, Erika Kacicova, who also turned up in Bradford.

Erika, 13, was found in the West Yorkshire city after she had been missing for a week.

South Yorkshire Police said they have found no links between the two cases.
