Tony Bennett joined by Lady Gaga for 90th birthday gig
Jazz legend Tony Bennett marked his 90th birthday in style appearing at the Empire State Building with pop star Lady Gaga for a special music-to-light show.
He started the day with a trip to Starbucks, whose US stores played his songs all day long in honour of the big day.
Bennett made history in 2011 when he was the oldest to ever make it to the top spot on the US Billboard chart with his album Duets II, and did it again with his Cheek to Cheek collaboration with Lady Gaga. Born in Oregon, Bennett fought in the Second World War before launching his music career, and scored his first number one with "Because of You" in 1951.
