Tributes after man shot dead in car
Tributes have been laid near the spot where a man was gunned down as he sat in his car.
Police launched a murder investigation on Saturday after the victim, named locally as Bogdan "Tony" Paduret, was shot dead in Tillingbourne Gardens, Finchley, north London.
Formal identification is expected to take place on Monday.
Officers were alerted to someone being shot at around 6am on Saturday morning.
When they arrived, police found the victim, believed to be in his 20s, suffering gunshot wounds.
An ambulance was called but he died at the scene, Scotland Yard said.
Over the weekend, cards and flowers were left at the site of the shooting.
Detective Chief Inspector Tim Duffield, from the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who was near Tillingbourne Gardens, which is close to the Holiday Inn on the North Circular Road, at around 6am on Saturday November 27.
"It is possible someone may have seen or heard something suspicious but is unaware of its significance. Any information will be treated in the strictest confidence."
