TV Play School presenters were stoned on set
If you were an avid viewer of popular children’s programme Play School in the 1970s you might not have noticed back then that the presenters were very likely stoned “out of their minds”.
Former presenter, Johnny Ball (73) revealed that during the era the BBC was filled with sex and drugs and that bosses turned a blind eye.
The ex-presenter said: “There was Rick Jones, Lionel Morton on myself. They got stoned on the biggest joint you’ve ever seen - in the studio... they were absolutely stoned out of their minds,” the Sun revealed.
Janet Fielding, ex-Doctor Who sidekick Tegan said: “Nobody cared whether you had sex in your dressing room.”
