Two-month-old baby's death caused by father
A father has been found guilty of the manslaughter of his two-month-old son who died of a head injury. Eden Robinson's body was found by paramedics lying on his side in the bedroom of his father Easton Robinson's flat on November 8, 2014.
Robinson (38), of Wasnidge Walk, St Ann's, Nottingham, was cleared of murdering the boy following a trial at the city's crown court but convicted of manslaughter yesterday.
Police said their investigations revealed the fatal assault was part of a wider pattern of abuse, with Eden suffering a number of broken bones in the weeks before his death, which the prosecution said were deliberately inflicted by Easton Robinson.
