A woman accused of stabbing a 13-year-old girl to death in a park on Valentine's Day has denied murdering the teenager.
Casey-Lyanne Kearney was found lying fatally injured in Elmfield Park, Doncaster, in February after dialling 999 for help. She was taken to hospital but died later.
Hannah Bonser, 26, was arrested and charged with her murder.
Bonser, of Cusworth House, Doncaster, is also charged with possessing two knives.
She appeared at Sheffield Crown Court via videolink on Thursday from Low Newton Prison, in Co Durham.
The charge of murder was put to her and she pleaded not guilty.
Members of Casey-Lyanne's family looked on from the public gallery as Bonser appeared on the screen for the 15-minute hearing.
Apart from her plea, she spoke only to confirm her name.
A trial date has been fixed for July 2. Judge Alan Goldsack QC told Bonser she will appear again for a hearing on June 26.
She was remanded in custody.
