Woman on identity document charge

A woman arrested by counter-terror officers at Luton Airport earlier this week has been charged with an identity document offence.

Jamila Henry, 21, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.

She is charged with possession of an identity document with intent, under the Identity Documents Act, the Metropolitan Police said.

Henry, of Waltham Forest, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of preparation of acts of terrorism, after landing on a flight from Istanbul.
