Viable pipe bomb found at GAA pitch

Bomb disposal experts have defused a viable pipe bomb that was found at a GAA pitch.

The device was discovered at the club on the Ballela Road in Banbridge, Co Down.

The alarm was raised at around 9pm last night when the police received a call saying a device had been left at the club.
