10 killed in India hotel collapse

At least 10 people have been killed and 12 others injured when a two-storey hotel collapsed in southern India, an official said.

Police official Anurag Sharma said more people are feared to be trapped in the debris of the City Light hotel in a suburb of Hyderabad.

Another 20 people have been rescued from the building.

Mr Sharma said rescue operations are continuing at the site.

The hotel is located in the Secunderabad suburb of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh state.
