Two arrests were made in Barcelona over the posting of pro-Islamic State group videos

Two people have been arrested in Barcelona for allegedly posting pro-Islamic State group videos and propaganda on the internet.

A statement from Spain's Interior Ministry said the pair used several online identities to promote the armed Islamic group's jihad. They also uploaded material of their own making.

There were no immediate details on the identities of the suspects.

The ministry said the operation was being conducted by the National Court in Madrid.

Spain has arrested dozens of suspected jihadi militants and recruiters in recent years.
