25 dead, 400 rescued as migrant ship capsizes off Libya

Some 400 migrants have been saved from a shipwreck off the coast of Libya and 25 bodies have been recovered so far, the Italian Coast Guard said.

Commander Filippo Marini said the rescue operation is still ongoing and involves seven ships.

He said survivors have indicated that between 400 and 600 people were on board the ship when it capsized.
