A third of US Republicans support bombing of Agrabah... the fictional city in Disney’s Aladdin
Thirty per cent of US Republican voters have said they would back the bombing of the city of Agrabah... the fictional city in which Disney's Aladdin is set.
Left-leaning pollsters Public Policy Polling buried the question in a survey gauging Republican primary voters' opinions about current politics, from their support for Republican candidates to issues including banning Muslims from entering the US.
Asked “Would you support or oppose bombing Agrabah?” - 30% of responders said they supported bombing it, 57% said they were not sure and 13% opposed it.
Supporters of Donald Trump, the GOP front-runner, were more likely to back the bombing of Agrabah, at 45%.
Democrats were also polled (or trolled) - and 19% said they would support bombing Agrabah, while 36% said they would oppose it.
In the same survey, 28% of Republicans said they supported the World War II policy of Japanese-American mass internment. And 46%– said they would support the creation of a national database of Muslims.
