American Airlines plane stuck in mud after careering off runway during take-off
An American Airlines plane veered off of a runway in Texas during take-off and is stuck in the mud.
Authorities said Flight 2214 careered off the runway at San Antonio International Airport.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said no injuries have been reported on the Boeing 737.
Commercial flights at the airport have been suspended until the aircraft can be removed.
Lunsford said FAA investigators are on their way to the site and the National Transportation Safety Board has been notified.
The flight was heading to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
American Airlines spokeswoman Alexis Aran Coello said the 38 passengers and six crew members were bussed back to the terminal.
