Over 100 tourists, scientists and journalists are stuck in the ice on an Antarctic cruise.
But Russia-based Fareastern Shipping Company says passengers on the Captain Khlebnikov icebreaker are in no danger.
A spokesman yesterday told Russia's Vesti 24 TV station that the ship is waiting for stronger wind to begin moving.
He said the icebreaker needs to cover five miles to reach clear water.
Meanwhile, passengers are using the unscheduled stop to tour the surrounding area.
